released as a spacer cd object/qr-mp3 (wrn-151 november 2o11)
-unfixed empty house/bodily sounds/puzzle recorded 2o11-2o12 in okinawa via skype & desplaines...

recollections are somewhat hazy... this began when, after skyping with family, the skype was not shut down, and they left the house to go somewhere... so i was able to listen in to the sounds of their empty house... the set was completed when i was able to do another recording in the reverse direction... my house in desplaines from okinawa...

i created a puzzle object by packaging clear spacers from cdr spools inside a sleeve with art + a qr code on the back cover... the qr code linked to a folder on my website with these tracks...

these were distributed (droplifted) at a sound art symposium at saic in chicago... i was able to watch ppl pick these up, and some even tried to play the spacers in their laptops... not sure how many figured out how to access the sounds via the qr code...

as an 'unfixed' work, i was able to add another track early in 2o12...

title is a reference to the confusion at saic involving the roman numeral 'ii' in my name... the saic computer records sometimes thought my last name was 'li'...

just realized/remembered that my name is not on this package as released...
